Using LaTeX for Math Equations
This feature is available only on AutoProctor's Socratease Quizzes.
If you are using Google Forms or most other quizzing solutions, to include an equation in an exam, you must either take an image of the equation and add it as a picture. Or you must type it like `a^2`or 3/4. If you want slightly more complicated expressions like the integral sign, it becomes even more difficult.
If you are using Socratease Quizzes, you can enable LaTeX on the quiz. LaTeX is the global standard language used to write mathematical equations. Textbooks, research papers in Maths, Physics and Computer Science are all composed in LaTeX. It can handle any complicated mathematical expression.
You can attempt this quiz to see how the equations are rendered. The video below shows how you can create a LaTeX quiz.
