Automatically Write Test Results to Google Sheets

Write to Google Sheets

You can find AutoProctor's results on your dashboard at any point. You can also export the results as an Excel file. But, instead of downloading an Excel file each time, you may want the results to show up on a Google Sheet automatically. For this, you can enable the Automatically Write to Google Sheets setting.

Note that Write to Google Sheets is a Premium Feature. So, you must have Premium or Elite subscription.

If you are using Socratease Quizzes, apart from the Proctoring Score, the Quiz Score is also written to Google Sheets. You don't get the actual questions and answers though, only the Overall Quiz Score.

How it Works

The video shows how to use the feature. The main steps are:

  1. Visit the Test Settings for a new or existing test.
  2. Scroll down to the Advanced Settings where it says Google Sheets ID
  3. Create an empty Google Sheet on your Google Drive
  4. Give hello@autoproctor.co write access to the Sheet. That is, the hello@autoproctor.co account should be able to make changes to this sheet
  5. Copy the URL of the Google Sheet and Paste it on the Test Settings on AutoProctor.
  6. Create or Update the test.
  7. Take the test. After you finish the test, if you look at the Google Sheet, it should have created a new Sheet called AutoProctor. You should be able to see the data too.
  8. Subsequent Test Attempts should get populated too.
